Hi, I'm Bria. Pronounced BREE-ah. Born in China, raised in various places, currently delighting in NYC.
You may know me as the mysterious gorg girl on tech Twitter. You may not know me at all. Either way, hi and welcome!
I built this little corner of the internet because I wanted somewhere that felt like me, and less like a LinkedIn profile or resume. I started posting online in 2021. These days I talk about tech, life, girlie things, travel, and whatever else has my attention that week. This space is still evolving. Maybe it becomes a portfolio. Maybe a travel diary. Maybe a creative playground. Honestly? Probably all three. I've been quieter than I'd like lately, and vibe-coding this space is me pushing myself back into creative expression.
The short version: I grew up in China, studied in the UK and US, started an education company, and eventually landed in NYC building communities and growing startups across AI and crypto. I love being early. I love figuring things out without a playbook. Give me a blank page and a vague idea, and I'm thrilled.

When I'm not working, you'll find me traveling, hunting down restaurants, visiting museums, watching live shows, baking madeleines at genuinely unreasonable hours, or happily disappearing into my own little creative world.
Education is the one thing I keep coming back to. Growing up in a less developed part of China and eventually making it to Harvard made me very aware of how much access, mentorship, and resilience can change someone's trajectory. So I've tutored students in rural China, worked on education research and policy, and co-authored a chapter on the future of education. My first startup was in education, too. And I hope to keep giving back to the communities that raised me.
I'm also an introvert, which tends to surprise people because I'm somehow always organizing the dinner, hosting the event, or connecting 100 people in a room. I contain multitudes.
